GIMP 的 Wilber Week 自 2019 年疫情爆发之后，就没有在线下举行过，而今年是该团队首次在线下举办为期 1 周的会议，聚会在阿姆斯特丹的 Blender 基金会总部举行。
GIMP 开发团队在会上讨论了 GIMP 的各种开发进度和错误修复情况，并探讨了计划成立 GIMP 基金会计划。
在 GIMP 3.0 方面，团队表示有望今年年底前推出候选版本。团队前正在开发 GIMP 2.99.16 开发版本，如果一切顺利，则有可能看到第一个候选版本。
